Canada Day in Port Coquitlam is a free community celebration held on July 1, 2026, featuring a full day of activities suitable for all ages. The main festivities take place at Castle Park, with additional events at Lions Park and the Port Coquitlam Community Centre Vancouver’s Best Places. The celebration is supported by the Government of Canada and encourages reflection on Indigenous history and reconciliation efforts www.portcoquitlam.ca.
Schedule of Events
- Celebration at Castle Park (1pm-dusk)
- Pancake Breakfast at Port Coquitlam Community Centre (8:30-11:30am)
- Hosted by Lions Club: Two mini pancakes, two sausages and a juice box or coffee for $7
- Free Drop-in Basketball and Lacrosse at Port Coquitlam Community Centre (9:30-11:30am)
- Fishing Derby at Lions Park (8-11am)
