Wilson Seniors’ booth shared with CRN
Port Coquitlam Car Show August 17, 2025
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped at our booth during the recent car show. From setup at 8:00 AM to takedown at 5:00 PM, our dedicated board members, gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm to share the work of the Community Response Network (CRN) and the Wilson Seniors’ programs.
Special thanks to Doug and Donna for their support and tent, to Gilda for promoting CRN services all day, and to Don, Barbara, Pat, Barry, and others who pitched in throughout the day. Your teamwork made the event a success!
Karen dropped by to say hello, and she, along with other members of our community and visitors who showed strong interest in our Bus Excursions, Tuesday Talks, social activities, and Bingo, helped make our day rewarding.
Gilda did an outstanding job promoting the work of the CRN. She spoke with many visitors about our programs and services, and one particular interaction stood out: she was able to provide critical information to a person who was trying to help a friend experiencing abuse. That conversation alone underscored the importance of our presence at community events and made the whole day worthwhile
I am proud of the difference we make together and I am grateful to each of you for your support.
